INTERPARENTS sends a complaint to the European Ombudsman for maladministration of the European Commission, concerning the reimbursement procedure related to the SWALS.

INTERPARENTS sends a new letter on L1 classes and other issues to Ms Christmann. "Interparents is conscious that the next meeting of the Board of Governor’s in April 2011 is extremely important. Decisions will be taken, which will have long-term consequences on the European schooling system as we know it today and as it has functioned for over 50 years. Decisions such as: the re-organisation of classes/groups; definition of SEN and SWALS pupils; the Reform of the Baccalaureate."

INTERPARENTS continues the dialogue with the Commission, started in October. In a letter of the 26th of January, INTERPARENTS asks for further clarifications on the organisation of L1 classes. Mr. Jacob, Deputy Director-General at the DG for Human Resources, replied on the 9th of February. Below you can find also the first exchange of letters between INTERPARENTS and President Barroso.

INTERPARENTS received a reply to the letter to President Barroso. The reply was given by Mr. Jacob, Deputy Director-General at the DG for Human Resources. Ana Gorey and Karin van Velde of INTERPARENTS had the 2nd of December a meeting with Mr. Jacob, following up this issue.

INTERPARENTS sent a letter to President Barroso on the 20th of October. In the letter INTERPARENTS asks the president of the Commission to take decisive action on procedures for reimbursement for mother-tongue courses, started formally by the Commission.
